Seonamara is a Camper & Nicholson 38′, formerly called “Pinta”. Built in 1969 and named “Pinta” (Finnish for ‘Surface’). The name was changed in 2020 when purchased and refurbished by Graeme Barrie.
The name Seonamara (Gaelic for ‘Gracious Sea’) was the name of a boat sailed by Graeme in his younger life and it was often commented on how nice a name it was. Seonamara III, an Ohlson 35′ was the last yacht owned by life-long friend, George Strang and it felt right to continue the Seonamara name following his recent passing. We’re sure George would have approved!
